WHY WE NEED A BAN ON DEEP SEA MINING
A handful of companies and governments are planning to send monster machines deep beneath the waves, disrupting sensitive and unique habitats to extract metals and minerals. Sending gigantic mining machines designed to bulldoze and churn up the seabed is clearly a very bad idea. Want to know how bad? PINK DOLPHINS SPOTTED IN THAILAND
A pod of pink dolphins was seen in the sea off Samila beach in Songkhla, Thailand and a paddleboarder posted pictures and a video of them on Facebook. He said there were 6-7 dolphins in the pod seen by himself and other paddleboarders. He was happy to see the dolphins, saying he believed it shows the rehabilitation of natural resources in the Gulf of Thailand.

FIRST UNDERWATER ECO-MUSEUM, CANNES FRANCE
The Cannes Underwater Museum is the first submerged art installation in the Mediterranean Sea, a museum created from six gigantic sculptures immersed near the seabed of the island of Sainte-Marguerite near Cannes. The works were created by the British environmental sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor, famous for creating new habitats for the restoration of marine fauna and flora.The statues are made using non-toxic materials with a neutral PH and placed on a sandy bottom at a depth varying between 3 and 5 meters.
